Sephora Sale Must-Haves that I Would Pay Full Price For

The Sephora sale is happening right now so naturally I wanted to share some of my holy grail makeup must-haves as well as other beauty items I’d pay full price for.

I also want to preface that I have used these products on clients as well as on myself. I have sensitive, acne-prone skin and have tested these products prior so I know they are gentle and safe. I also verify the ingredients of my products before I purchase using a variety of sites like CosDNA and Skincarisma and which I highly recommend you do for your skincare, makeup, and even household cleaning products.

Anyways, let’s dive in.

10 Sephora Sale Makeup Must-Haves

1. Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray

If you follow me on TikTok then you know this is the ONLY setting spray I use. I have tried other setting sprays including a variety of drugstores ones and unfortunately the drugstore setting sprays always have harsh ingredients in them for no reason.

I have even gone to sleep with my makeup on (hey, we have all done it) and woken up with my makeup still looking fresh because of this setting spray.

If you’re hesitant, they also have the small size for you to test but I promise you will return for the full-size – even at full price.

2. Nars Radiant Longwear Foundation

This was my go-to foundation for no joke like five years and then I started testing some drugstore ones just to find more accessible options for my followers. However, I recently went back to this foundation and immediately fell in love again.

This is a buildable full-coverage foundation that leaves your skin looking truly so radiant. As someone with neutral, olive undertones it can be difficult to find a foundation that isn’t to warm or too pale. But the color match with this foundation has been spot-on between my summer and winter skin. However, I will say for as specific as the color matching can be, the shade range itself for darker skin leaves much to be desired and I hope they expand their selection.

3. Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Liquid Blush

If you follow me you also know that I absolutely love Rare Beauty. The brand’s values are so profound and what they do as a big name brand for mental health awareness is truly something so admirable and appreciated.

Ms. Selena’s line of liquid blushes is so beautiful and even the matte iterations leave your skin with such a soft, natural looking gleam. I love the shades Bliss, Hope, and Encourage specifically but you can do no wrong with any shade.

4. Rare Beauty Positive Light Silky Touch Highlighter

This is the most long-lasting highlighter I have ever used. It also has that true highlighter sparkle but with a satin finish so it doesn’t look like there are chunky sparkles in it.

I love using this on the tops of my cheeks, under my brow arch, on my nose, and even as eyeshadow. I use the shade Exhilarate which is a champagne gold. You really only need a little of this so it will last you a good amount of time.

5. Lawless Make Me Blush Talc-Free Velvet Blush

Lawless is a vegan beauty brand that’s also all acne-friendly and safe because their products are talc-free.

This blush specifically is one of my favorite products from the brand. It’s super long-lasting and pigmented again meaning you don’t need a lot of this and it will last you awhile. It also while being so pigmented doesn’t leave your face looking cakey which can sometimes happen as we typically apply blush later in our base makeup routine.

I’m waiting for them to release more shades but love the Indian Summer and Phoenix shades specifically.

6. Benefit Gimme+ Brow Volumizing Fiber Eyebrow Pencil

I used to be an Anastasia Brow Powder Duo girlie and still break it out on occasion if I just want to switch things up, but this brow pencil from Benefit is my absolute all-time favorite. It is the best brow product I have ever tried and I will continue to repurchase it until the end of time.

Brow pencils can be tricky because a lot of them are too rigid or not pigmented enough. This one however is so creamy and glides on so easily. It makes my brows look naturally fuller because of how blendable it is and the color match is perfect because of their wide shade range.

If you struggle doing brows, this is a perfect product for you. Like I said, the formula is so smooth meaning if you make a mistake it is easy to wipe off or blend out.

As a makeup artist, I know our brow routines are very specific to us. But I strongly encourage you to give this a try and tell me if I’m wrong about how perfect it is (you won’t).

7. Briogeo Scalp Revival Charcoal + Biotin Dry Shampoo

Dry shampoo is super harmful not only to our hair, scalp, and skin but also to our environment. That’s why I switched to this powder dry shampoo from Briogio. It is made with natural ingredients as well as biotin to help strengthen hair.

I recommend applying some to the palm of your hand and then taking a dense foundation brush and patting it onto your hair before rubbing in.

This also doesn’t dry out your scalp or leave flakes across your part. It’s also very lightweight meaning there’s none of that heavy dry shampoo feeling brands like Batiste and Dry Bar leave on our hair.

Moreover, I have tried many Briogeo products including shampoos, conditioners, and hair masks and really would recommend anything from the brand.

8. Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm

This rivals Hailey Beiber’s rhode beauty peptide lip treatment and I have to say after trying both, the Summer Fridays one is much better.

The rhode beauty one left me with dried white residue on my lips and I actually feel like dried them out while the Summer Fridays one healed my dry, cracked lips in the winter and leaves the most beautiful shine without feeling sticky.

I have the Sweet Mint which is a beautiful clear gloss that gives your lips but better vibes or can be applied over your favorite lipstick for some hydration and shine.

I also have the Vanilla Beige which is a dark dusty rose color which I love wearing on its own or with lip liner.

9. Patrick Ta Contour Duo

I was on the hunt for a true, cool-toned contour and the cream side of the She’s Sculpted duo is my perfect shade. The formula is super creamy and buildable and doesn’t make your contour look muddy.

I’m going to be honest here, I don’t love the powder portion of this contour duo. Not because of the formula but because for my skintone, it is a little too warm. However, I would fully repurchase this product for the cream side alone.

10. Hourglass Veil Translucent Setting Powder - Talc Free

For my clients who are new to baking or setting powders, I always recommend this one.

Additionally, I always recommend this setting powder for the summertime specifically. It truly is sweatproof and locks your makeup in place. I wore it to an outdoor concert that was in the 90ºs and when I got home, my makeup looked as though I’d just applied it.

This is a translucent powder but I do recommend applying it little by little to avoid any white residue. They do however, offer the “translucent” shades in a variety of hues to match your undertones.

That wraps up my Sephora makeup must-haves for acne-prone skin. Be sure to check out my TikTok to see these products in action as well as learn application tips that potentiate these products to the fullest.
